Description

DESC: The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision to purchase and install electronic sirens and associated devices / equipment on utility wood poles and on roof tops at USCG base to augment / complement existing electronic tsunami alarm system, USCG Integrated Support Command, KODIAK, ALASKA. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: American Signal Corporation Siren assembly, remote terminal units, battery cabinets, wood poles, etc. See Statement of Work. Performance Period is 30 ? 45 days after Notice to Proceed. SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD may include but are not limited to: manufacturer?s catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, references or qualifications. REFERENCES showing satisfactory completion of at least three (3) similar jobs within the last three (3) years will be required. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: IMC, IPC, ASTM, CFR, MIL SPEC, FED STD, applicable OSHA regulations and Coast Guard Safety Regs. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE MAILED ON APPROXIMATELY MAY 11, 2004. A SITE VISIT will be held approximately two weeks before quote is due. Contractor is responsible for field verification of all materials, sizes, and quantities necessary for the complete installation of this project. Location: U.S. Coast Guard, Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska. Estimated price is between $25,000 - $100,000. The proposed contract is a Small Business Set Aside. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered. Solicitation package issue date is approximately MAY 11, 2004. Written quotes will be due on / about JUNE 11, 2004.
