All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. The subject requirement is for acquisition of 6 NSNs with various item description and end items. The 100% Small Business Set-Aside requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Delivery Type Contract for which Delivery Orders may be place for one (1) year. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period on or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. See Notes (s): The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of 10 May 2004. The Small Business size standard is 750 employees. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 2510, 2530, 2540, 2590 and 3040. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). Approved sources are 3Y949, 8D136, 0AHU0, 18894, 23382, 62983, 6N299, 95685, 0BHC4, 64599, 20722, 77237, 26278, AND 80924. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
