- Description
- This project involves constructing a temporary bypass (including repairing and placing a Government furnished temporary bridge), and removing and disposingof the existingtimber bridge, concreteabutments, and asphalt surface and approaches. Construct a new bridge in approximately the same location (pile abutements, riprap, prestressed concrete superstructure), install bridge and approach rail, and reconstruct the approaches (embankment, base rock, asphalt concrete surfacing). Associated work includes traffic control, construction staking, temporary erosion control measures, separating/dewatering during instream work (removal and abutments, etc.), monitoring stream turbidity, quality control, as-built drawings, etc. The instream work period is from July 15 through August 15. Estimated start work date is July 10, 2004 and work needs to be completed by October 15, 2005. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps on May 11, 2004.
