Description
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL NO. DTFASW-04-R-00021 The NAS Defense Program Antenna Project at the Fort Worth Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) includes demolition of the existing flues on the top of the Penthouse in order to create a secure walkway for the maintenance of the new antennas. POINT OF CONTACT: Brad Logan, Contracting Officer, 817-222-4395; Mike Page Contract Administrator, 817-222-4396 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking competent and qualified Small Business construction contractors, who are women owned, disabled veterans, SDB or 8A Interested in providing offers for the NAS Defense Program Antennas and Structural Support Project at the Fort Worth Air Route Traffic Control Center Fort Worth, Texas This procurement is set-aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 237990. The estimated price range of this project is $100,000 -$150,000. Contract performance time is 60-90 days. The project also contains items that are needed for different areas of the ARTCC. The sustain items are divided into 6 sections and are Bid options (1) Administration and Automation wing roof repairs (2) Scrape and repaint engine exhaust mufflers and radiators. (3) Scrape and repaint cooling tower catwalk. (4) Interior painting including elevator lobby 2nd floor, classroom C-3, AT Manager Conference room, handrails and other interior surfaces. (5) Install vinyl composition floor title at the basement level of RCL Tower entrance In the main building and replace title at the floor level. (6) Install a water/oil separator in the boiler room. The contractor is expected to perform 20% of the work using its own employees. A mandatory site survey will be held at the site May 24, 2004 at 9:AM The request for Offer Package is expected to be available to small business contractors on May 3, 2004. Contractors must submit their request for this package no later than April 30, 2004. RFP packages will be provided only to the first 7 requestors.
