Description

The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions and change the process in which this announcement will be awarded. The government contemplates making two awards from this process one of which will be made to an 8(a) concern and is set-aside 100% for 8(a) concerns see announcement for W911RZ-04-R-0009. This announcement (W911RZ-04-R-0006) remains unrestricted and the government will make one award off of this announcement. The closing date for this announcement remains unchanged. The following ve rbiage is also added to the announcement:The small businesses, historically black colleges or universities and minority institutions, and women-owned small businesses considered in the evaluation shall be listed in any subcontracting plan submitted pursu ant to FAR 52.219-9 to facilitate compliance with 252.219-7003(g). 252.219-7003 (g) In those subcontracting plans which specifically identify small, small disadvantaged, and women-owned small businesses, the Contractor shall notify the Administrative Contr acting Officer of any substitutions of firms that are not small, small disadvantaged, or women-owned small businesses for the firms listed in the subcontracting plan. Question: In the subject solicitation, we have a question about the following sentence: I nterested firms having the capability to perform this work must submit two copies of SF 255 (11/92 edition), and two copies of SF 254 (11/92 edition) for the prime firm and all consultants to: . . . I understand this to mean you want 2 copies of a complete 255 for the entire team and that each of those copies include 254s for each sub and the rest of the information (Block 1 through Block 10) for the entire team. Also, from a later statement in the solicitation, that the total number of pages for each cop y is 50 (including the SF 254 forms). Please confirm that I am correct in my understanding. Answer: We need two copies of the SF 255 for the entire team and two copies of the SF 254 for the prime and each sub-contractor that the prime proposes to use. The entire proposal shall not exceed 50 pages double-sided or 100 single sided pages.
