- NA In accordance with OMB Circular A-76 and its Supplemental Handbook, The Military District of Washington Acquisition Center will be issuing solicitation DADW35-01-R-0011 on or about 12 November 2001 for the Fort Myer Military Community (FMMC) Base Operatio ns functions. The Fort Myer Military Community encompasses Fort Myer located in Arlington, Virginia; Fort McNair located in Washington, D.C.; and two communication tower sites at Tyson Corner, Virginia and Suitland, Maryland. The functions identified at FMMC as commercial activities under OMB’s Circular A-76 include: Public Works; Logistics; Plans, Training, Mobilization & Security; Office of the Commander; Headquarters Command; Resource Management ; and Personnel & Community Activities. These functions provide for environmental, engineering, housing, program management, general management, administrative, training, recreation, library, marketing, and business operations. This action is a competitive UNRESTRICTED action, the ap plicable NAICS code is 561210 for Base Maintenance with a size standard of $20 Million. The apparent successful offeror will compete with the Government In-House Most Efficient Organization (MEO). Contract will be a Fixed Price Award Fee type contract fo r a 12 month base period and Four(4)one year option periods. The solicitation and all amendments will be issued via the World Wide Web at http://mdwsps2.belvoir.army.mil/PRD/PRD_Whole_Base_10-10-01/index.htm. NO PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION OR ANY AMEN DMENTS WILL BE MAILED. No public announcement of any amendments will be made. Vendors are advised to periodically check the web page for new amendments or other updates. The solicitation will be posted on the stated web page on or about 12 November 2001 wi th an initial closing date established for 12 March 2002. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled and none will be provided. A site visit and pre-proposal conference will be conducted at the Fort Myer Military Community; date and time will be publish ed via solicitation amendment.
