- Description
- The USDA Forest Service, Apache—Sitgreaves National Forests, Springerville, Arizona, has a requirement for construction of a trail bridge and fishing stations at Nelson Lake (Reservior) on the Springerville Ranger District, Springerville, AZ 85534. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract. The Government estimate of the magnitude of this project is the range: $250,000 and $500,000. Award will be based on the successful offeror’s low bid (Government will conduct a pre-award survey to determine the apparent low bidder’s capability and references prior to award). This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Small Business size standard is $27.5 Million under the above NAICS code. A Pre-Bid / Site Visit will be scheduled for May 26, 2004, at Springerville RD Hunter Bldg Conference Room, 10:00 am Arizona Time. Any changes to the site visit will be announced in the solicitation package or by amendment to this announcement. The solicitation package, plans, and specifications will be made available on or after May 13, 2004, and will be posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Maps and other documents that are not electronically available, shall be requested in writing. In order to be eligible for award of a Federal contract, Offerors must now be registered in the Central Contractor Registration System (CCR). The template containing information necessary for registration can be found at http://www.ccr.gov/handbook.cfm. No Telephone requests for solicitation packages will be accepted. You may request printed copy of the solicitation package by Fax to: (928) 333-6357 (or 6362), Attn: Margaret Cisco. The last day to request solicitation packages shall be June 2, 2004. Sealed Bids shall be received on or before 2:00 pm Arizona Time, June 16, 2004. Facsimile bids are not authorized and shall not be accepted. Refer to FAR Part 14.304.
