Description: See Numbered Note 22 - The U.S. Army CECOM Acquisition Center has proposed a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source award to Night Vision Equipment Company, Inc., Fogelsville, PA to purchase Infrared Glo Tape 1 inch squares with Velcro (Part No. IFF-980P) and Infrared Glo Tape Soldier Combat Helmet Identification Marking System (SCHIMS) (Part No. IFF-980H) which includes two (2) options. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available for a competitive solicitation. Solicitation Number W15P7T-04-R-A409 will be issued in electronic format, and only electronic proposal responses will be accepted. The estimated date of release of solicitation is approximately 1 3 May 2004 on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASIF) web site at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. All responsible sources may submit an offer by closing date of solicitation for Government consideration.
