Description

DESC: NSN: 1005-01-452-1433, Part Number: 12988403, Contractor shall have the capability to convert M1 Rifles to ceremonial configuration. This means completing an inspection/screening and minor alterations, adding a blank firing adapter and the set firing the weapon to ensure physical integrity. Any award resulting from this solicitation will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract with five pricing periods. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 24 May 2004. This solicitation wi ll be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais. ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore i ncumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receip t of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
