Description

Surge tank is to provide A-B line acid wastewater treatment system with a new 500,000 gallon flow equalization tank to absorb/contain wastewater flow surges due primarily to storm events, so that the maximum flow does not exceed 8 mgd (million gallon s per day). Project consists of new, flow diversion structure (weir), underground HDPE 18” pipe, (stainless steel pipe), 500,000 gallon reinforced concrete surge tank (2 chambers), with stainless steel sluice gates, throttling valves & valve box, over flow weir and high water alarm, sanitary sewer manholes, temporary construction measures includes by pass line, pump around. ACI 350 applies to this gravity flow system. Secondary containment is not required. Magnitude of construction is $1,000,000 to $5,0 00,000. Duration of project is 270 calendar days. This is an unrestricted procurement. Applicable NAICS code is 237990 with a size standard of $28.5 million. The applicable SIC code is 1799. This solicitation will be issued on the internet only.
