- Description
- The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract to purchase a facility access control system. This is a sole source to Advanced Control Concepts, Inc, 1502 N. 9th Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32503. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The announcement number is F3HDOL40970100. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561621, with a small business size standard of $10.5M. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The requirement is for an access control system to upgrade security at building 1201, High Explosives Research and Development (HERD) facility, Eglin AFB, FL. This upgrade must be compatible with the existing security system. The required hardware includes a new security fence (approx 252 LF), 20 ft vehicle gate, heavy duty gate operator, two card readers with protective bollards for the gate, an electric pedestrian turnstile with card readers, panic door hardware set, security camera, flat screen monitor, and associated conduit and concrete work to install the system. The required controlling software must interface with the existing security system allowing selected facility users to monitor the various cameras and gates from their workstations and allow remote access.
