- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is H92241-04-T-0019, and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The due date is 30 APR 04 no later than 10:00 AM EST. Quotes must be submitted via e-mail to cgold@tapo.eustis.army.mil or by fax to (757) 878-4199. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2002-06. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 334111 and small business standard of 1000 employees. The U.S. Special Operations Command has a requirement for LAPTOP COMPUTERS, 25 Each, with the following specifications: Windows 2000; 3 year Warranty; Standard Interfaces: External Keyboard/mouse, External Video, Headphones/speaker, IEEE 1394 (Firewire), Integrated10/100 Ethernet; Modem; Parallel, Serial, USB 2.0. Offerors shall submit firm fixed-price quotations only. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination by the Government. Delivery of 1 Each is required by 6 May 04 and remaining 24 Each by 28 May 04. Ship to address is L3 Communications, 5749 Briar Hill Rd, Lexington Ky. The intended source is Miracle Computers, Inc., dba Computer Online, 780 Montague Expressway, San Jose, CA. Any interested parties showing an interest as a result of this notice will be given due consideration required by law. The following provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items (Offerors are instructed to complete this section and return with their quote); 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items; 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items; and 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items.
