Description
REPLACE TELEMETRY RADIOS AND ANTENNAS, HURLBURT FIELD FL. Hurlburt Field is an Air Force installation that is located in the Florida Panhandle mid-way between Panama City and Pensacola, Florida. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334515 with a size standard of 750 employees. This is a synopsis to provide services to replace telemetry radios. This requirement includes all the necessary labor, tools, materials, transportation and facilities necessary to replace existing telemetry radios and antennas. Radios/antennas provided must be with form fit and function compatible to existing Data Flow Systems radios. The telemetry radio must be mounted to fit with the existing card slide and the edge connector circuitry must be compatible with Data Flow Systems back plate wiring. The radio frequency shall be specified by Hurlburt Field and or AFCEA for this project. The vendor shall provide documentation showing that the radio meets the specifications for frequency stability and deviation. Antennas: The antenna shall be 7.2 dBd gain directional unit for each remote site and the central transmitter antenna shall be a Decibel Products DB201 or equivalent tuned to the specific frequency. This antenna will be mounted at approximately 45’ on “N” type. Existing coax cables at all sites may be used but shall be tested to ensure their quality.
