- TO PURCHASE MIC-50 COIL TRANSPORT TRAILER, HURLBURT FIELD FL. Hurlburt Field is an Air Force installation that is located in the Florida Panhandle mid-way between Panama City and Pensacola, Florida. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 336214. This is a synopsis to procure a 5 Coil Transport Trailer to be shipped to Hurlburt Field AB FL. The trailer must meet the following specifications. Must be like or equal to M.I.C.-50 Industries mobile Coil Transport Trailer. Specific dimensions are: length 21 ft (6.35 m), Width 4.8 ft (1.43 m), height 3.4 ft. (1.04 m), fender height 2.7 ft (0.82 m), weight (gross) kg (empty) 5588 lb (2540 kg), axle 3@9,000 lb (2540 kg), brakes air/hydraulic with ABS, paint – high grade industrial finish (white), tires (spare included) 275 x 16 – “HC,H” Range, wheels 17.5 x 6.75, Hitch – pintle hitch. There should be at least 5 adjustable locations for height – 19”, 22”, 25”, 28”, and 31”. The de-coiler hub assembly should be capable of carrying 36” wide coils of sheet steel with nominal material thickness of up to 0.060”. Also, 24” wide coils can also be loaded provided the coil guide angle is in place and the correct alignment is set. De-coilers must be interchangeable and identical with MIC 50 multi coil transporter so field cannibalization can occur if needed. De-coilers must be able to hold 5,500 lbs sheet steel coils.
