- Description
- The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is conducting a sources sought synopsis to locate capable organizations providing services to identify ?best practices? for the NHSC scholarship and loan repayment programs and to develop and define plans to optimize the impact of the NHSC. This will include identifying 1) the characteristics of scholarship and loan repayment practitioners with high service placement and retention rates, 2) ways to improve performance of scholarship and loan repayment programs, and 3) the HRSA?s training provider role. Specific tasks to be carried out under any resultant contract would require extensive knowledge into the workings of the NHSC, extensive knowledge of the issues affecting the health care workforce, and extensive experience conducting national level, health care workforce analyses and the understanding of the training and professional duties of the NHSC health professionals. The contractor must have capability to calculate factors influencing the supply of, and demand for the NHSC health professionals which will be required to adequately characterize the future needs as they compare with designation areas and population characteristics. Interested organizations should submit their capability statements demonstrating : 1) their understanding of the problem, 2) a general technical approach, 3) management capabilities and 4) corporate experience. Any contractor must demonstrate their capability to perform this work in sufficient detail to assess their ability. Documentation may include, but not be limited to, both Government and commercial contracts, providing references (with Names, telephone numbers, and email address) and any other information serving to document the organization's capability. The capability statements shall be not more than twenty-five (25) pages, on 8.5? x 11? paper, with 1? margins and a 12 point, commonly used font such as, Times Roman in length. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT COMMITTED TO AWARD A CONTRACT PURSUANT TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.
