- NOTICE: This announcement is issued to conduct market research and to obtain information only. No contract award will result from information received in response to this notice. There is no obligation on the part of the Government to issue a formal solicitation as a result of this notice and participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the United States Government. Interested parties are advised that the Federal Occupational Health Service (FOHS) is currently acquiring similar services under an existing contract that was originally solicited and awarded as a Small Business Set-Aside. This is a sources sought (market research) notice to determine the availability of potential small businesses (e.g., HubZone small businesses, 8(a) veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran- owned small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, and women-owned small businesses) that are capable of providing Occupational Health (OH) operational staffing support services as described in the Summary of the Statement of Work. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 621999 with a size standard of $8.5M. Interested parties must separately download the Summary of the Statement of Work by going to the Federal Business Opportunities web site. The Summary of the Statement of Work is identified as FOHS-04D0428MR. Interested parties are required to submit Capability Statements that do not exceed 5 pages. Capability Statements shall clearly demonstrate their firm?s capability and experience to provide the following: 1. A wide range of OH professionals and services as defined in the Summary of the Statement of Work; 2. OH staff/services under Federal Government contracts; 3. OH staff/services over the entire United States (US) and its territories and trusts or multiple geographic areas; 4. OH staff/services internationally; 5. Existing corporate infrastructure (including, but not limited to, human resources and personnel management, accounting department, etc.) to successfully recruit, retain and oversee a minimum of 300 full time OH employees located in 12 US locations. Capability Statement responses to this notice shall also include a separate cover letter identifying the following information: (1) Company Name; (2) Address; (3) Point of Contact; (4) telephone number, fax number, and email address; (5) NAICS Codes; (6) Business Size and status (e.g., HubZone small businesses, 8(a) veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran- owned small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, and women-owned small businesses). Capability Statements shall be submitted electronically by email to nhaney-ceresa@psc.gov prior 5 p.m. local prevailing time on May 10, 2004. Capability Statements will not be accepted after the due date.
