Description
SOURCES SOUGHT REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY: The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) Health Services Division is seeking information on sources capable of providing an electronic, web-based, Continuing Medical Education program for approximately 1,500 health care professionals assigned to over 100 nationwide BOP locations, currently in the continental United States, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. The purpose of this request for information is to identify sources and solutions currently capable of providing: 1. a program that allows extensive online registration, reporting, testing and tracking capabilities; 2. a wide range of courseware, serving multiple disciplines, such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Bloodbourne Pathogen Requirements; 3. a program for disseminating information on educating physicians and other health care professionals to accommodate the requirements of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), Academy of General Denistry (AGD) or American Dental Association (ADA), and American Health Information Management (AHIMA), American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), American Nurses Association (ANA), Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) at a minimum; and 4. a program that is accessible to BOP staff from any location, i.e., home or office. Responders are requested to provide general information about available programs/services, pricing information and typical payment structure, normal terms and conditions of usage, contract vehicles, company/organizational name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, fax number, business size (to include, large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a), or HubZone status). All relevant information is encouraged. The information contained in this Sources Sought synopsis is all that is available. At this time, no solicitation exists. This is for informational purposes only and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, or Request for Quotations. The Government does NOT intend to award a contract on the basis of this Request for Information or otherwise pay for the information solicited.
