- Description
- SIR Description: In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management System (FAAAMS), the FAA Western-Pacific Region hereby publicly announces this Request for Proposal (RFO), North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for project is 1623. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, coordination, transportation, services and materials required for the installation/upgrade of Backup Emergency Communications (BUEC) equipment and antennas at five (5) locations in Arizona; Flagstaff, Gila Bend, Holbrook, Prescott and Humboldt. This work includes, but is not limited to; lightning and grounding upgrades tilt down antenna poles (furnished as GFM), duct banks, and building entrance boxes. Security upgrades at Humboldt Mountain ARSR involves the installation of RGS pipe in place of PVC and where cable is exposed. Contractor shall provide a detailed project schedule with proposal. Interested parties shall submit a written request to the Contracting Officer for the RFO package. The request must include the Solicitation Number DTFWP-04-R-00060, Company Name, address, telephone number, FAX number, and name of contact person. Box 92007, Los Angeles, CA 90009-2007, Attn: Kenneth Wilcox. All solicitation requests must be received by 3:00 pm on 5/6/04. If you are viewing this on the Western-Pacific Website, you may respond by using the "Reply to Sir" button below. Any request received after the date/time above will not be accepted. VERBAL/TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The FAA will evaluate offers and will award a contract based on "best value", giving consideration to total cost to the FAA. The FAA may make an award without communications or negotiations however, communications and/or negotiations may be conducted with one or more firms to determine the best value to the Government.
