Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Data Security, Inc., to provide HD-6000 Degausser with a 1 year service agreement and 6-month certification using Simp lified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition, Fort Lee, Virginia. The anticipated award date is 5 May 2004. This is sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. No solicitations or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely in the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received by COB 4 May 2004.
