Description

J--The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment and materials to overhaul/upgrade of the Digital Electronic Control Units (DECUs) for the T701C Engine, UH-60 and AH-64, Input/Output, and Best Estimate Quantiti es (BEQ) are as follows: Comparator Module, BEQ: 750 each or 150 per year, Input NSN and Part Numbers (P/Ns): 2995-01-396-1356/4082T99G08, 2995-01-311-5235/4082T99G04, Output NSN and Part Number 2995-01-396-1356/4082T99G08 in support of the UH-60 T701C Eng ine; Digital Electronic Control Unit (DECU), BEQ: 175 each or 35 per year, Input/Output NSN: 2995-01-482-9561, Input/Output P/N: 4082T99G09, in support of the UH-60 T701C Engine; Control Unit, SU, BEQ: 175 each or 35 per year, Input NSN and Part Numbers ( P/Ns): 2995-01-396-1357/5078T29G04, 2995-01-367-7628/5078T29G02, 2995-01-340-5503/5078T29G01, Output NSN and Part Number: 2995-01-396-1357/5078T29G04 in support of the AH-64 T701C Engine; Digital Electrical Control Unit (DECU), BEQ: 100 each or 20 per year , Input/Output NSN: 2995-01-482-9559, Input/Output P/N: 5078T29G05 in support of the AH-64 T701C Engine. The maintenance and overhaul shall be in accordance with the manufacturer??????s blueprints/production drawings and specifications. Authority cited i s 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contractual action will be a five-year, firm fixed price Requirements type contract. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The approved source is B AE Systems Controls Incorporated, Fort Wayne, IN (CAGE 63760). Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for this or future solicitations by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate??????s Shopping List (CASL) procedures. These procedures are outlined at the following web site: http://www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/. Submit request(s) for source approval to: Commander, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: AMSAM-MMC-AV-S, Building 5309, Redstone Arse nal, AL 35898-5280. All responsible sources may submit an offer that may be considered by the agency. There will be no telephone or e-mail requests for proposals accepted. Request will be by data fax to (256) 955-9237 or mailed only to, ATTN: AMSAM-AC-L M-M, Ernestine Small, Contract Specialist. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
