Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport is planning to procure 85 MK 30 Shipping and Storage Skids (P/N 5918237), with two options for 10 additional skids each. We intend to procure these items from AC, Inc. of Huntsville, AL as a sole source under the HUBZONE Program, per FAR 19.1306. AC, Inc. is the only known manufacturer of these skids. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated, with delivery of the production units required at a rate of 10 each, beginning 300 days after contract award. Options will be exercised, if at all, within 270 days of contract award, with delivery of 10 units due 180 days thereafter and the last ten due 210 days after option exercise. ?This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command.? Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
