- Description
- The government has a requirement for (18 units) truck mounted 18 ft. van body to be used as a mobile command centers by the United States Postal Inspection Service. These vehicles will be subject to service in all of the fifty states and in all weather conditions. A full floating body-on-frame construction shall be furnished. Chassis, body, equipment, and accessories shall be provided as specified herein. This requirement is for 2005 model year vehicles. This procurement is opened to all Responsive and Responsible Offeorors. Offers submitted in response to this solicitation shall be in English and U.S. dollars. The government will make one award to the lowest, responsive and responsible offeror. Delivery: First Production Vehicle is 180 days after receipt of order. The first production vehicle is required to be built, inspected and presented for inspection within 180 days after receipt of order. The remaining 17 vehicles are required to be built, completed and presented for inspection within 90 days after GSA accepts the First Production Vehicle. The delivery must not exceed 270 days in total. The award will be for: Firm Fixed Price/ Requirements Type Contract , and will have a base contract period of one (1) year from date of award and one-year option period.
