Description
The following are changes and supplements to the above captioned solicitation. Based upon our requirements, our space availability and the changes in requirements, a second site visit is scheduled for 11 May 04 at the Missouri AVCRAD located at 2501 Lester Jones Ave., Springfield, MO, at 1000 hours central standard time. Attendan ce at this site visit is Mandatory for anyone desiring to submit an offer. Even if you attended the previous site visit, this site visit will still be manatory because of the changes. We require a total of 3 benches that have a working surface of (30 feet, 0 inches) x (4 feet, 4 inches). Work surface must be adequate to support a CH-47D Rotor Blade weighing approximately 355 pounds. Electrical power in building is 208Y/120volt, 3 phase, 4 wire, 60 hertz (request vendor provide drawings to identify amperage ratings under full load and during starting conditions). Vendors are to offer as an option on their proposal, a bid for 480Y/277 volt, 3 phase, 4 wire, 60 hertz (request vendor provide drawings to identify amperage ratings under full load and during starting conditions). Proposed location of the (3) Downdraft Benches and associated ductwork, dust collectors and filtration system are identified on schematic drawings (You may request copies to be sent to you electronically. Submit your request to shirley.zbinden@mo.ngb.arm y.mil and provide your email address. ) Airflow to provide a minimum 200 fpm with CH-47D rotor blade in place minimum 10,000 CFM. Filtration to be high efficiency 99.999% on .5 micron dust particles Ductwork to be sized for medium velocity, medium pressure and contain gasketed access doors for inspection and cleaning. Design velocity shall be calculated to prevent settlement of dust particles. Contractor to provide all electrical connection to include local fused disconnect and control wiring. External conduit is to be rigid with flexible sealed conduit for connection to all vibrating equipment. Internal above grade conduit to be emt. Conduit below slabs, if any, may be at contractors option be PVC. All wiring shall be copper. Electrical service from panelboard to fused disconnect shall be under separate contract. Coordination will be required prior to startup. Contract price is to include installation, start-up, training of 8 personnel maximum, O&M manuals and spare parts list including filters Offer due date is extended to June 1, 2004 NLT 8:00 CST.
