- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard, Maintenance & Logistics Command, Pacific (vpl) proposes to contract a qualified Total Small Business Set-aside firms capable of performing haul out and repairs for the USCGC 52314 motor life boat, stationed at Cape Disappointment, Ilwaco, WA. The contractors facility must be within 225 nautical miles of the boat’s assign station, Cape Disappointment, WA. The performance period will begin 04 August 2004 and ending 25 August 2004. The solicitation will be issued as a invitiation for bid (IFB) procurement on or about 22 April 2004. The work items include but not limited to: haul out and underwater body work, propeller shaft removal and installation, strut and stern tube brg renewal, rudder bearing renewal, appendages (underwater) preservation, internal, hull plating, underwater body preserve, part, gas free certification, sea trials, fuel oil tank clean and inspect, generator sw cooling pump suction piping renewal, electrical meter calibration, flexible hose renewal and testing, sea valves 2-1/2” and less, zinc anode. All potential Total small business set-aside offerors are advised that the solicitation, specifications and other notifications can be accessed on the web at www.eps.gov. All responsive Total small business set-aside sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by this agency. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
