Description

The Social Security Administration has a requirement for pest and rodent control services at various locations within and around the Main Complex, Baltimore, Maryland 21235. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to perform the service of pest control. The Contractor shall be responsible for the following buildings: Altmeyer, Annex, East High and Low Rises, West High and Low Rises, Child Care Center, Operations and Supply Buildings. The Contractor will also be responsible for the surrounding grounds and sidewalks of the Main Complex. All routine pest control services shall be conducted after 6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, excluding Federal Holidays, for all buildings unless otherwise authorized by the Project Officer. Emergency pest control services will also be required if necessary. The period of performance shall be for a one year base period with seven 1-year options. The proposed method of acquisition considered is a small business set-aside. Solicitation SSA-RFP-04-1012 will be available on the website on or about February 2, 2004. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items.
