Description

R-U. S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic Atmospheric Adminstration (NOAA), National Environmental Satellite Data, and Information Services (NESDIS), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Institute for Global Environmental Strategies, Arlington, VA to provide services to coordinate meeting/conference facilitation and support for two (2) interagency working groups on Earth Observation (IWGEO)-sponsored meetings. The Government anticipates award of a sole source, fixed price, purchase order to Institute for Global Environmental Strategies. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. Any responses received as a result ot this announcement will be considered by this agency. However, and responses received as a result of this announcement must be sufficient detail, to permit complete evaluation of the respondent's capability. All responses shall be evaluated on a best value basis giving due consideration to price approach and past performance. No solicitation package is available. The government anticipates award on or about April 19, 2004. Award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures. Reference 30.
