- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested from GSA Holders Only and no formal solicitation will be issued but a statement of Work for this effort is available. A six-month firm fixed price acquisition. The objective is to provide the ANG Telecommunications Training. The train ing provided will bring the STEMs up-to-date on current industry standards required to accomplish the STEM program. The following tasking is defined in very general terms for the training desired. Learn how to design voice/data distribution systems. Learn the latest methods for designing fiber optic networks. Real world knowledge on LANs and internet-works for the cabling professional. Learn how to design for todays networks. Solve the mysteries of grounding and protecting sensitive cable plant equipment. Gain the latest in-depth information the will help you make wise decisions on future CO-OSP projects. Learn the ins and outs of unde rground, direct-buried, and aerial cable plant applications. Get your telecommunications projects under control. Learn to deliver projects on time, under budget, meeting all requirements. Learn advance project management techniques. FAR Provision 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms a nd Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; and DFARs 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes and Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items shall apply to this sol icitation. Please submit with your quote a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. All quotes will be evaluated on price and delivery. The Government will award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer is conforming to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government. The FAR clauses may be viewed at http://farsite.hill.af.mil Contractors submitting quotes must be enrolled in the Central Contractor Registration Program (CCR). The closing date for this solicitation will be 20 April,2004 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. Late quotes will not be accepted. Your quote shall be submitted in writing to Christine.Epps@ngb.ang.af.mil. this notice does not obligate the Government to award a delivery order for the subject items. The Government shall not be obligated to pay for any information developed and/or furnished by potential sources in response to this notice. If further information is needed it will be faxed upon request.
