Description
SOLICITATION: Solicitation Number USTDA-04-Q-8-136, Definitional Mission to Evaluate the South Caucasus Highway Project in Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey are now due no later than 4:00 p.m., Eastern Time on April 21 to Contracting Office, U. S. Trade and Development Agency, 1000 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 1600, Arlington, VA 22209-3901. This procurement is a small business set aside with a small business size standard of less than $6M annual sales under NAICS code 541611. The Government’s estimate for this procurement does not now exceed $43,000. The Government contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract. Proposals submitted by email or by facsimile will not be accepted. For additional information regarding this solicitation, email contract@tda.gov. This procurement is hereby modified to change date for proposal submission. The new date for submission of proposals is now April 21, 2004 because of internal deadlines that must be met. The cost for this work has been increased by $8,000 to accomodate additional statement of work that must now be added for inclusion in the final report. The additional work is as follows: USTDA has added $8000 to the budget for completing the following task: USTDA is considering funding an independent evaluation of proposed routes for a new border crossing between Turkey and Iraq. The current crossing, at Habur, Turkey /Ibrahim Khalil, Iraq, is at capacity, and there is a need to establish a new one. The contractor shall evaluate the potential of the project, keeping in mind USTDA guidelines, and develop the budget and terms of reference for the project. A few extra days are required in Ankara in order to discuss the project with regional officials as well as US Embassy officials. Travel to the border region may also be necessary. The new total cost established for completion of all work required is $43,000.
