- This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ ME-03-0324-01. All Statement of Need and Evaluation Factor requirements must be met as they appear in this notice. This procurement is being issued as UNRESTRICTED. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-12 and Defense Acquisition Circular 2003-03-01. NAICS Code 334290 (Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing) applies to this procurement. DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS: This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items: Qty: 17 ? Canon EOS 10D Qty: 17 ? Canon EF 17-40mm f4 L USM Qty: 17 ? Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM Qty: 34 ? Hoya HMC 77mm UV Filter Qty: 34 ? Hoya HMC 77mm Circular Polarizing Filter Qty: 34 ? Cabib BO-511 Lithium-Ion Battery Qty: 17 ? Tamrac Pro 12 Bagf (5612) FOB: Destination for delivery to MACDILL AFB, FL 33621 within 90 days of the award of this solicitation. The quote must list the DUNS number, CAGE code, and Federal TIN.
