Description

Solicitation N00421-04-T-0139 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This action is not set aside for small business. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Dawn VME Products for the part numbers listed below, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. The manufacturer must be Dawn VME Products. The contract line item numbers and descriptions are **CLIN 0001 Quantity 23 ea P/N 11-1012798 VME64x Card Cage. Award is expected 17 MAY 2004. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received by 13 MAY 2004. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
