- Description
- In accordance with the procedures specified in the revised OMB Circular A-76 (Attachment B, B.1), dated May 29, 2003, this notification represents the formal public announcement and official start date of a streamlined competition on the mechanical maintenance services commercial activity function performed at the General Services Administration (GSA), Public Building Service (PBS), Great Lakes Region, located at various field offices in Indiana one field office in Ohio, and one field office in Illinois. PBS provides for the Federal Government?s real property needs by leasing, building and maintaining Federal office space. Government personnel consisting of one (1) commercial activity FTE represents the incumbent service provider located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Government personnel consisting of one (1) commercial activity FTE represents the incumbent service provider located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Government personnel consisting of one (1) commercial activity FTE represents the incumbent service provider located in New Albany, Indiana. Government personnel consisting of one (1) commercial activity FTE represents the incumbent service provider located in Columbus, OH. Government personnel consisting of one (1) commercial activity FTE represents the incumbent service provider located in Springfield, Illinois. The estimated work years will consist of a base year and four option years. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. NO SOLICITATION SHOULD BE ANTICIPATED AND PROPOSALS ARE THEREFORE NOT REQUESTED. A solicitation will not be issued if the cost of contract performance is determined to be greater than the cost of in-house performance by Government personnel. The designated Competitive Sourcing Official is, J. David Hood, Assistant Regional Administrator for the PBS. His point of contact is Dan Krudop. The responsible Contracting Officers are Robert Higgins (IN & IL locations) and Rachel Zahn (OH location), and the Agency Tender Official is Phyllis A. Smith. The projected end date of this competition is August 31, 2004.
