- Orthopedic and Special Measurement Footwear, Solicitation SP0100-04-R-0123 is for various 8430 stock numbers; twenty two (22) orthopedic/special measurement footwear, specifications and drawings may vary. Estimated Quantity: 3680 Pr with one term option. Opt: 3680 Pr. (est.) Destination: Veterans Integrated Service Network 3, New York, NY. Procurement will be issued as a Small Business Set-Aside and will be evaluated under Best Value Procedures with the factor of Experience/Past Performance. The Government intends to make one award, but reserves the right to make two with overall maximum value. Notes 9,13 and 26 apply to this procurement. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.mil/home after May 22,2004(estimated). From The Gateway homepage, select "Search RFPs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFPs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at the time of download. The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as The Berry Amendment) impose restrictions on the DOD's acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing & Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and specialty metals (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
