Description

Intent to sole source Technical and Administrative support services from SAFEOperations, Inc. that developed software purchased from the PCHS-2 contract needed for the Department of Veterans Affairs to meet an urgent requirement for a specialized automated software tool to conduct the Congressionally-mandated Information Technology (IT) security self-assessment of VA?s 871 systems and major applications, and to generate a Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) for each IT security weakness identified as a result of this survey. The survey and associated POA&Ms are required by the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), Title III, E-Gov Act of 2002; Office of Management and Budget Circular A-130, Federal Information Resource Management; and, OMB Memorandum M-09-18, Reporting Instructions for the Federal Information Security Management Act and Updated Quarterly Plans of Actions and Milestones. Requirement includes Technical Intelligent Security FISMA on-site Administrator Support ? 680 hours; Intelligent Security FISMA on-site Developer Support ? 840 hours; intelligent Security Exec Consultant Support ? 40 hours; Intelligent Security Consultant Support - 160 hours.
