Description

The intent of this project is to repair Road 24 by replacing culverts, cleaning ditch, and adding aggregate and asphalt. This project is located on the Mapleton Ranger District, Siuslaw National Forest, Lane County, Oregon. The successful Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government-furnished), and incidentals to accomplish all work necessary. The Government estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. Technical and price proposals are due by close of business on June 18, 2004. The successful contractor shall also be required to submit performance and payment bonds (100% each) prior to start of work. Contract time is 60 calendar days. Estimated start work date is July 8, 2004. The solicitation packet will be posted in FedBizOpps on or about May 17, 2004. NOTE: This project is totally set-aside for the Jobs-in-the-Woods program, therefore, award of this contract will be restricted to those firms or individuals who are located in an affected area (i.e. county), the affected areas are: WASHINGTON: Okanogan, Douglas, Chelan, Kititas, Yakima, Klickitat, Skamania, Clark, Cowlitz, Wahkiakum, Pacific, Lewis, Pierce, Thurston, Grays Harbor, Mason, Jefferson, Clallam, Kitsap, Island, San Juan, King, Snohomish, Skagit, and Whatcom; OREGON: Wasco, Jefferson, Deschutes, Lake, Klamath, Jackson, Josephine, Curry, Coos, Douglas, Lane, Linn, Benton, Lincoln, Marion, Yamhill, Polk, Clackamas, Multnomah, Hood River, Tillamook, Washington, Columbia, and Clatsop; CALIFORNIA: Siskiyou, Shasta, Tehama, Glenn, Lake, Trinity, Humboldt, Del Norte, and Mendocino.
