Description
17. This is a combined synopsis/request for quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only quotation; quotation is being requested and a written request for quotation will NOT be issued. The quotation number is DTCG40-04-Q-20381. This synopsis/quotation constitutes a quotation and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45. Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAIC) code is 335999, size 750 employees. This requirement is being solicited with the intent of issuing Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA?s) for base year with four option years ONLY with offerors that have had their product tested and accepted (first article samples). The Blanket Purchase Agreement(s) will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5. The Programmable Flasher shall be manufactured in accordance with Coast Guard Specification P-422-0340 and Coast Guard drawing number 120006. Copies of Coast Guard Specification and drawing may be obtained by contacting Ms. Harrigan by e-mail or telefax. The acquisition is: 1. 5945-01-460-3349, Programmable flasher, 12 Volt solid state flasher to be made in accordance with Coast Guard specification P-422-0340 and associated Coast Guard drawing number 12000. Packaging, Packing, Marking: Each item shall be individually packaged to provide physical and mechanical protection during shipment, long-term storage in an environmentally controlled warehouse, and subsequent shipment to the end user. Items and materials sensitive to electromagnetic fields shall be suitably protected. The internal packing material shall be sufficient to prevent damage during shipment, handling and storage. Preservation and protection shall be provided to prevent corrosion, deterioration or decay during warehouse storage for a period of one year. Each individual unit shall be marked with the vendor name vendor?s part number item name and national stock number. Bar coding of the NSN in accordance with AIM BC is required. Delivery of all items shall be made within 60/90 days after receipt of call order placed against the BPA. Quantity of 500 each Flashers to be delivered every 30 days until completion of order. Multiple BPA?s may be awarded provided the Quoter(s) has passed first article testing requirements. FOB Destination: Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Attn: Receiving Bldg. 88, Baltimore, MD 21226. Quoters are requested to provide ?Economic Order Quantities? with their Quotation. Contractors must have valid DUNS numbers and be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered.
