- The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, and Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (FKNMS) intend to acquire services for a Sanctuary Advisory Council Liaison. The Liaison will perform the tasks for coordination of the Sanctuary Advisory Council (SAC) meetings: 1) Communicate with SAC Chair to develop, review, revise and distribute meeting agendas, 2) Prepare and distribute meeting materials for SAC members and other interested parties, 3) Coordinate and set up meeting facilities, 4) Prepare and distribute background information for upcoming meetings to members and other interested parties, 5) Attend and record all SAC meetings 6) Summarize meeting minutes in draft form for SAC review in electronic and hardcopy formats. This includes summarizing technical data distributed at meetings, 7) Orally communicate with SAC members and interested parties at meetings, 8) Finalize and distribute meeting minutes after Council approvals, 9) Prepare summary for other SAC working group meetings, 10) Attend other SAC functions for the purpose of collecting information for reporting back to the SAC. Provide staff support for SAC members attending meeting, workshops and other relevant events. Travel to approximately 8 meetings within South Florida, 11) Travel to other NMS sites representing the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. Approximate 4 trips may be required. All interested parties may request a copy of the Request for Proposal (RFP) within fifteen (15) days of its publication. Requests must be in writing to the address stated herein.
