Description

This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items, Item Description: Digital Cable Analyzer; Cat 6/5e, and Fiber Optic cable test/analysis, Soft carry case, RS232 Serial Cable, RJ45-BNC adapter Cable, Quick Reference Card, 2 Instrument Straps, PC Card Reader, 16MB MultiMedia Card, 16MB internal memory, Software, Main and Re mote units, 2 Cat 6/5e Permanent Link Adapters w/set of Cat 6 Personality Modules, Cat 6/5e Channel/Traffic Adapter, Cat 6/5e Channel Adapter, 2 Talk Sets, 2 AC Adapter/Chargers, Calibration Module, 1 set; Gigabit Multimode Fiber Test Adapter for digital c able analyzer, 1 ea; Patch Cord Test Adapter, included test database CDRom and users manual for digital cable analyzer, 1 ea; Singlemode fiber Test Adapter, 1310nm and 1550nm light sources, loss and length mesurement up to 10km in loopback mode, compatible with digital cable analyzer, 1 ea; Multimode Fiber Test Adapter, 850nm and 1300nm light sources, loss and length measurement up to 5km in loopback mode, Compatible with digital cable analyzer, 1 ea; Fluke DSP-4300 Series or equal. Item is required within 30 days ARO, and FOB destination is preferred for delivery to BLDG 500, 100 Independence Drive, Camp Douglas, WI 54618-5001. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted) in reference to RFQ W912J2-04-T-3004. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Cent ral Contractor Registration (CCR). This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13.
