THIS PROJECT IS ADVERTISED ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS PURSUANT TO THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. THIS PROJECT IS A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), PERFORMANCE PRICE TRADE OFF (PPTO) SOLICITATION. The p roject involves construction of a 6,650 square foot laboratory building facility with 864 square foot power amplifier building and supporting site work and utilities. The facility will have a specialized vibration dampening foundation and reaction mass su pporting high frequency shaker tables and impact test equipment, a bridge crane, significant electrical and hydraulic type mechanical work. Estimated cost range of the project is from $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Solicitation documents should be available by approximately 26 May 2004. Mr. Gene Curtis is the Contracting Officer for this project. Note No. 1: Any prospective bidder interested in bidding on this solicitation must register for plans and specifications in order to download a copy of the solicita tion and be placed on the plan holder's list. If you are not registered, the United States government is not responsible for providing you with notifications of any changes to this solicitation.
