Description

The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about June 21, 2004. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Description: Open to all sized businesses. Domestic Water and Fire Protection System Installation, Prince William Forest Park, Triangle, Virginia, Solicitation Number N3000040033. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of the above named project. Work includes, but is not limited to: construction and installation of approximately 74,422 linear feet of water main piping with its corresponding appurtenances and connection to water system. The NAICS code for this project is 237110 and the small business size standard is $28.5 million. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This procurement is a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. In addition, this procurement is offered to all sized businesses. The National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged and women-owned business enterprises. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation, Section L, clause 52.236-27 Alt 1, Site Visit (Construction). Responses will be due approximately 30 days following issuance of solicitation. Search by referencing the solicitation number (above), Department of the Interior, National Park Service. Individual requests for solicitation packages will NOT be accepted.
