Description

This project consists of the following: removal of three existing trail bridges; replace with new Government Furnished trail bridges on new footings; construct new bridge approach trail segments; reconstruct trail section through talus slide; and related construction work on the Illinois River Trail #1161. Use of helicopters and mechanized/motorized equipment may be permitted. Price Range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps on or about May 21, 2004. A bid bond in the amount of 20% is required. Payment bond (100 percent) and Performance bond (100%) will be required after award. Note: prospective awardee shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base prior to award.
