Description

Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials,and perform all work in connection with Road Repairs at Fort Jackson, SC in accordance with the contract. Work includes removal of existing pavement for depth patching and milling of existing pavem ent, site grading, excavation, compacting, rolling and finishing, disposal of waste materials, etc. The Government anticipates that the solicitation will be issued around mid June and will contain four option years. This requirement is being considered for HubZone Set Aside. Interested HubZone certified firms must certify in writing that they will bid on the requirement if it is set aside for HubZone certified firms and must provide a copy of its HubZone certificate with written certification. If two or mor HubZone certified firms provide the written certification, the requirement will be set aside for HubZone certified firms. If the above certifications are not met, the solicitation will be issued as 100% Small Business Set Aside without further notice. Wri tten certifications must be received within seven days of the date of this synopsis in order to be considered. Responses may be faxed to the attention of the contract specialist at (803) 751-5429. The solicitation will posted to the asfi/fedbizopps website . Bidders are responsible for obtaining the sollcitation ( any any amendments)from the web site.
