Description

THIS PROJECT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS. Work consists of emergency repair of earthen levee erosion, including shaping 1,400 feet of eroded earthen levee toe, placing select fill, blanket stone, and riprap, and seeding and mulching the repair site. The estimated cost range for this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $28.5 million. The Galveston District's Subcontracting goals are: Small Business - 40.4%; Small Disadvantaged Business - 16.0%; Woman-Owned Small Business - 5.6%; Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business - 3.0%; Hubzone Small Business - 3.0%. Bid Opening will be hel d in Room 185. The plans and specifications will only be available via our website, on the issue date. It is the contractor's responsibility to register on the website, to download plans and specs, and to check daily for any posted changes to this solicita tion, at: www.swg.usace.army.mil/ct. Notification of amendments shall be made through paper or the Internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation.
