Description

This amendment is hereby issued to correct the following: The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure a total of 11 - 750 KVA Transformers (5th and 7th harmonic elimination equipment for bow and stern thruster VFD?s. 5, 7 eliminator, 3 phase, passive phase shifting autotransformer for treatment of the 5th and 7th harmonics in a 3 wire ungrounded system. Reduces harmful effects of VFD harmonic currents. Produces a quasi-12 pulse scheme with dual 6 pulse VFD?s. Unit rated 750 KVA, 480V, 3-phase, 60hz, 130 degC temp. rise, 220 degC insulation class, complete with 2 temperature switches on center coil (1@170 degC and 1@200 degC) and in NEMA-drip proof enclosure. Units must be site tested and approved for operation on the bow and stern thruster VFD?s of US Coast Guard vessels), Mirus PN 5,7-480-750-TC-CG. Interested sources can submit information detailing their capabilities to provide this particular transformer. The information should include detail drawings and technical manuals. Due to the urgency of this requirement the Government reserves the right to make multiple awards. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
