Description

The VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System, Omaha Division, intends to negotiate a contract with Dr. Thomas Ferlic for hand and wrist specialty orthopedic surgery services to include clinic time and surgical procedures. Physicians who feel they can compete for this requirement must be located in the Omaha metro area, must hold a faculty position at either University of Nebraska Medical Center or Creighton University, must be a board certified orthopedic surgeon and must be able to meet VA credentially requirements. A solicitation document is not currently available and will not be included with this announcement. Requests to be considered for this requirement must be faxed to the Contracting Officer at 402-449-0612 no later than close of business on May 17, 2004 and must contain evidence of board certification and faculty appointment at the previously listed institutions. Responses will be evaluated however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health CareSystem, Omaha Division will proceed with negotiations with Dr. Ferlic.
