Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The contractor shall provide a one-year software and hardware maintenance renewal for a 256-channel SCADAS-III system, DADS, Virtual Lab, OPTIMUS and LMS CADA-X seats currently being utilized in the Platform Integration Function, Propulsion and Structures Directorate. The maintenance will consist of updating software as new releases become available, telephone hotline support, and SCADAS-III calibration. This requirement is sole source to LMS North America, Troy, Mi. LMS is the sole distributor of the softw are and hardware. Further, it is in violation of the LMS license agreement for any third party to resell maintenance or hardware and software. Therefore, LMS is the only source for this purchase of maintenance.
