Description
NSN: 3020-01-114-9726, PN: 145D2313-2, QUANTITY: 114 Each with Two 100% Options, applicable to the CH-47 Airframe, with deliveries to Texarkana, TX 75507-5000. This item is restricted to Northstar Aerospace (Chicago), Cage Code 22907 and The Boeing Company, Cage Code 77272, because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualif ied source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Production Lead-time with First Article Testing is 40 each, 405 Days After contract Award (DACA) and 40 each month thereafter until contract completion. Production Lead-time witho ut First Article Testing is 40 each, 270 DACA and 40 each month thereafter until contract completion. Production Lead-time with Article II Clause is 40 each, 335 DACA and 40 each month thereafter until contract completion. Firms that can produce the req uired item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitation by accessing the website ww.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under SAR information. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shal l be considered by the Agency.
