- Description
- The Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for direct replacement parts for a Belles and Morcom compressor, Model WL56, S/N 8426. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M00146-04-T-N087 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-21 and Defense Acquisition Circular 98-50. This acquisition is under the North American Industry Classification System code 333912, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is for a firm fixed priced contract, for the following item(s): Item 0001: 3 each piston, PN 2-28-700-01; Item 0002: 10 kits unloader repair kit w/spindles, PN BXPSB 028-RWS; Item 0003: 2 each top cover gasket, PN 2-01-785-03; Item 0004: 3 each cover-discharge valve, PN 2-70-709-03; Item 0005: 3 each cover-discharge valve, PN 2-70-420-02; Item 0006: 3 each scraper ? piston rod S/N 8426, PN QAP13-63-8426A; Item 0007: 3 each packings - piston rod W.P., SN 8426, PN QAP13-64-8426A; Item 0008: 3 sets ring-piston-W1Z2N S/N 8426 Brz (set of six), PN BX2-28-700-02B; Item 0009: 3 sets ring-piston-rider-W1Z2N S/N 8426 Brz set of 2, PN BX2-28-700-03B. The Delivery requirements are FOB destination and are to be delivered to Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC 28533 within 30 days or less. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers - Commercial Items (OCT 2003). FAR 52.212-3 Alternate I, Offer Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items (April 2002). A completed copy of this provision shall be submitted with the offer. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items (OCT 2003). FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (MAR 2004), to include clauses (13) (14) (15) (16) (17) (18) (19) (24) and (29). DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (OCT 2003), applies with the following clauses applicable for paragraph (b); DFARS 252.225-7036 Alt 1, Buy American Act?North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act?Balance of Paymebnt Program; DFARS 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests (MAR 2003) and DFARS 252.247-7023, Transportation of Supplies by Sea (MAR 2000). Evaluation Factors: The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this Request for Quotation to the technically acceptable, responsive, responsible offeror based on price and delivery alone. This requirement has a Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating of DO-A1C. All quotes must be received no later than 4:oo PM, local time, May 19, 2004.
