- Item 0001 Noun: 2nd Stage Shroud NSN: 2840-00-505-8319NY, P/N: 9082M58G07, Appl to : TF39 Engine A 3-year requirements type contract with a one-year basic period and two one-year options is anticipated. Total Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) for the basic and two options is 2,801 each. Estimated Qty: Basic year ? 569 each, Option I ? 1,207 each, Option II ? 1,025 each Approved sources: Ferrotherm (CAGE: 01993), General Electric (CAGE: 07482), Kratz/Wilde Machine Co. (CAGE: 75440) Destination: To be determined at time of delivery The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 25 May 04. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 24 June 04. The anticipated award date 22 Sep 04. Note: Faxed solicitation requests can be submitted to the buyer, Benita Tassey, Tinker AFB, (405)734-8106. This proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clauses 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firms listed. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government.
