Description

The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (USA RDECOM), Natick Contract Division, in support of the USA RDECOM, Soldier Systems Center (SSC), Kansas Street, Natick, MA 01760-5011, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ), using fu ll and open competition, to procure Universal Pattern Warrior Combat Uniform Material for test and evaluation purposes. The FSC Code is 8305. The NAICS Code is 313210. The business size standard is $1,500,000.00. The Government anticipates making multi ple Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purhase orders for this acquisition. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Natick, MA 01760-5011. This acquisition involves the procurement of material to be used in the development of the U.S. Army??????s Warrior Combat Uniform currently under development. The goal of this uniform is to use a single camouflage pattern which is effective in multiple terrains replacing both the Woodland and Desert Battle Dress Uniforms. It is anticipatated that there will be an initial purchase for approximately 10,000 yards of material, with an Option for an additional 30,000 yards of material. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. A RFQ will be issued on or about 14 May 04.
