Description

The Bureau of Land Management's Missoula Field Office needs on call corrective road maintenance on portions of Garnet Range, Centennial, Cave Gulch, McElwain, Hamilton Gulch, and McNamara roads located in Granite, Missoula, and Powell Counties near Missoula Montana. The work consists of furnishing one motor grader and one water truck, both with skilled operators, for approximately 200 hours of grading and processing of roads, watering, moving within the project area, ditch cleaning, and other minor leveling work as directed by the Project Inspector. The contractor will be notified seven days before work is to begin; call-ups will not exceed four times within the contract period. _______ The motor grader must have a minimum 135 net horsepower with a scarifier and equipped with a moldboard not less than 12 feet long. The water truck must have a minimum capacity of 2500 gallons with a power off spreader bar. Both pieces of equipment must be in good operating condition during the contract period. The Contractor shall furnish all operating supplies needed to complete the work. _______ No site tour is scheduled; however, interested quoters are encouraged to familiarize themselves with site conditions. The RFQ (SF1449) will be posted on FedBizOpps.gov on or about May 20, 2004 and quotes will be due by midnight local time on June 21, 2004. Award is tentatively scheduled for June 23, 2004 with the contract period starting July 1, 2004. _______ This RFQ consists of four line items: Motor Grader with Operator; Water Truck with Operator; Motor Grader Mobilization; and, Water Truck Mobilization. Quantities are estimated; award will be 'All or None'; and this project is estimated to be between $10,000 and $100,000. Registration at www.ccr.gov is required.
